We believe in a family and resident-led approach to care, where family members are an essential part of our community. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where families feel involved in their loved one’s care.

Our residents are encouraged to participate in resident-led activities that allow them to take control of their daily routines and explore their interests. This approach gives our residents the freedom to shape their lives and enjoy their days as they see fit.

We offer a dynamic activities program that keeps our residents entertained and engaged every day. From regular visits from entertainers to baking and gardening sessions, we strive to provide a variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities.

Our beautiful garden is a popular destination for our residents, offering a serene and peaceful setting to explore and relax. Our patio area is a particular favorite, providing the perfect spot to unwind and take in the fresh air.

Nursing Care

For individuals experiencing a persistent medical condition, the level of care is akin to that of residential care, but it includes round-the-clock assistance from a qualified nursing team.

Residential assistance is provided to those who require some assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and managing their medication regimen.

We welcome you to join us for a brief stay, respite, vacation, or to get a taste of our care services prior to a permanent move-in.

Palliative & End Of Life Care

Specialised support is provided to individuals with a life-limiting illness to alleviate their symptoms and ensure their utmost comfort. We recognise that this may be a sensitive time, and our teams provide compassionate support, offering guidance and a listening ear.

Nursing Care

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care, our weekly fees are broken down by the main care types we offer.

Nursing care – Any contribution by the NHS for nursing care is paid directly to the care home and not included in these indicative prices

Twenty-four hour care and support services within the homes which reflect your needs and wants and wishes and include:

  • On-going care reviews
  • Nursing Care – for higher level dependency nursing
  • Personal Care – such as help with dressing, eating, bathing and mobility, provided by a carer

Accommodation that includes:

  • Your bedroom and access to all facilities
  • All your meals (including any reasonable dietary requirements), drinks and snacks
  • Laundry (excluding dry cleaning)
  • Domestic cleaning services
  • Utilities such as WiFi, lighting, heating and hot water (excluding telephone calls)
  • Furniture for your room and maintenance of communal furniture, fixtures and fittings in the Home

A Digital First Approach

We take a digital-first approach to ensure that our residents and their families stay connected at all times. One way we achieve this is by using NourishCare, a digital platform that provides remote access to daily notes, care plans, and general health information. Families can check in on their loved ones’ activities and well-being, ensuring that they stay informed and engaged in their care.

We also make technology available to our residents to promote inclusivity and help them stay connected with their loved ones. We provide access to tablets, which residents can use to communicate with their family and friends, browse the internet, or participate in group activities if they are unable to leave their room. By embracing technology, we ensure that our residents have access to the tools they need to stay connected with the people and things that matter most to them.

The staff were always extremely welcoming and always advised us of any changes to my mother-in-law's health. She felt safe in their care and we had every confidence in the care home. The room was warm and comfortable despite being quite basic. We were all treated with care and compassion when my mother-in-law 
passed away and we know that they treated her with the utmost respect.

Choosing a care home can be a daunting experience, especially when the need arrives out of the blue and you’re required to act quick on behalf of your loved ones. I have to say that opting for Bracknell Care Home was an easy choice, as it was the most warm and friendly out of all other homes I had visited 
and I instantly knew my mum would like it. The staff genuinely care for the residents and relatives as if they are part of a family. They are always committed, going above and beyond not only for the residents, but also colleagues and visitors. My mother has lived here for a year now and the care she has received has been amazing, particularly the frequent healthcare/nurse visits, which are a huge help in regulating her Parkinson’s disease. I cannot fault this home and I’m always made to feel welcome when I visit on a weekly basis. The big plus point for me is that I can always remain confident that my mother is being very well looked-after in a safe and caring environment.

Dad was in this lovely care home for four months. He was well looked after by all the staff. Everyone, including the management, carers, nursing, housekeeping, management and cooks, were the best. Dad ended his life well cared for and very comfortable. Thank you.

Bracknell Care Home is a small, happy little place. All the staff are lovely and have always made me very welcome when visiting my brother in law and he seems very happy in their company. The care he has received here is excellent!

From my first to my last visit, it was evident how much the staff genuinely care, not only about the resident, but also about the family. I couldn't have wished for a better home for my mum. There is always a calm relaxed and friendly atmosphere whenever I visit. Dad appears content and relaxed. He has one-to-one support and has a good rapport with all the permanent staff. He seems well looked after and the staff have learnt more about his condition and really want to help make him comfortable but at the same time are considerate to his independence and dignity.

This care home has a lovely environment. The home has wonderful staff and my father was very comfortable and happy. The staff were very accommodating and would often spend a long time just chatting with my father. They have recently had a change of management and she is wonderful, she is doing her utmost 
to get the care home to where it should be at a good/outstanding level and now has a full quota of permanent staff. They were amazing.
